Prepare to be captivated: Sirena Yachts is about to unveil its stunning new flagship, the 118-foot superyacht, later this year. This exciting development marks a significant milestone for the Turkish shipyard as they prepare to launch the first-ever Sirena 118 from their Yalova facility, promising to make waves in the luxury yacht market.
The Sirena 118 stands as the largest model crafted by the brand, outstripping its predecessor, the Sirena 88, by an impressive 30 feet. With sleek exteriors designed by Sirena's in-house creative team, naval architecture by the renowned Germán Frers, and luxurious interiors by Cor D. Rover, this vessel combines elegance, spaciousness, and surprisingly swift performance for a superyacht.
"As we witness the first Sirena 118 come to life, we are thrilled to see our design vision being realized throughout the entire construction process," commented Çağin Genc, CEO of Sirena. "The dedication and skill of our team, combined with the expertise of long-time collaborators like Cor D. Rover and Germán Frers, are bringing this flagship to fruition in a manner that genuinely embodies the essence of Sirena."
Despite its volume being under 300 gross tons, the 118 boasts an impressive tri-deck layout that emphasizes both space and comfort. Owners have the opportunity to personalize the interior according to their preferences; however, one can expect only the finest materials and an abundance of natural light throughout the yacht. Accommodation is generous, allowing for up to 12 guests and seven crew members. Typically, the owner’s suite is positioned at the front of the main deck, but owners have the option to enhance it across two decks, creating a spacious loft-like area complete with a private spiral staircase. On the lower deck, you'll find four guest cabins and a VIP suite, alongside quarters for the crew.
For leisure and entertainment, the Sirena 118 does not disappoint. The main deck features both lounge and dining spaces perfect for social gatherings. Ascending to the upper deck, you'll discover a wet bar and an additional dining area, all designed for enjoying the views. The bow area provides a Jacuzzi and sun pads for relaxation, while the aft deck is equipped with fold-out wings and a hydraulic platform, making access to the ocean seamless and convenient.
When it comes to cruising capabilities, the Sirena 118 is designed with a highly efficient fast-displacement hull that minimizes drag and promotes fuel efficiency. Powered by twin MAN V-12 engines, generating 3,100 horsepower, this vessel can reach impressive speeds of 16 knots. For those seeking even greater power, there is an option for a more robust engine package, delivering 3,800 horsepower and boosting the maximum speed to 21 knots.
Before the inaugural unit is delivered later this year, it will still undergo several essential stages including engine installation, final paint touches, interior finishing, and comprehensive sea trials.
