Despite Grayson's optimism and the club's investment in facilities, the Red Bulls are currently languishing at the bottom of the Prem Rugby table, having failed to secure a single win in their eight games so far this season. Sporting general manager Neil McIlroy is clearly a fan of Grayson. "Ethan has applied himself really well and played to a consistently high standard," he said. "I look forward to seeing his continued development during this exciting period of growth for the organisation, and whilst there is an understandable focus on external recruitment I think it's also important that we recognise and reward the talent we already have within the building." McIlroy's words suggest a balanced approach, recognizing the importance of both nurturing existing talent and bringing in new players. But is this balance the right one for the Red Bulls right now?
