As we anticipate the 2026 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, exciting changes are underway at the playground and Butterfly Landing near the Imagination Pavilion!
Playground Renovation at EPCOT
During a recent trip to EPCOT, we observed that the area surrounding the playground near the Imagination Pavilion is now enclosed by green scrim walls. Above these walls, charming awnings adorned with string lights can be seen, adding a delightful ambiance to the space.
This playground, which debuted last year, draws inspiration from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and is affectionately known as Playalong Bay Play Garden, presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables. It promises to be a favorite spot for families, blending fun and creativity seamlessly.
Preparations for the Butterfly Landing
Similarly, the Butterfly Landing is currently being prepared, surrounded by extensive stretches of green scrim walls. Silver tent poles are being set up, hinting at the transformation that is about to take place. The Butterfly Landing is designed as a serene walk-through garden, featuring a delicate tent under which visitors can marvel at live butterflies fluttering about, creating a magical experience.
Mark your calendars: the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will return this March, offering guests a spectacular showcase of topiaries, gardens, engaging exhibits, captivating concerts, and so much more.
